that's how I see it

I have this odd relationship with the fecundity of women - as I get older the urgency of my body's reactions gets more peaceful and I can genuinely see an attractive female body as a pure thing of beauty without too much lust - previously, say 10 years ago, it was only while doing something creative like bodypainting or photography that my physical desire was subsumed (mostly!) into the creative process. I still think lust is a fairly honorable reaction to a beautiful woman in an unabashed pose of availability. It's fun that the rules of art seem to allow us to move the barriers in an attmosphere of safety further than would be possible in the average frat house.

What a fascinating game we play... to a male elephant, I guess a fit female elephant would look lush and curvacious and worthy of worship, and any female human would be just some skinny hairless primate, like we might see a goat or a fish. So our human drives certainly powerfully inform our aesthetic, and the eroticism of the glowing world of the senses is the nature of the attraction which makes us open our eyes every morning and want to merge with all the external beauty we experience with our active creative senses.
